Murray Galloway & Co. is the culmination

of over 40 years of ministry and life experience.

Murray Galloway, the group’s founder, has a heart to share the gospel.  Along with pastoring and evangelizing for over 40 years, he has been ministering through music for over 50 years.  His unique and powerful voice has blessed congregations nationwide.  Only recently has he revealed the songs he has written over the past 40 years.  I think you will agree; it shouldn’t have taken so long!

In 1986 his wife, Andrea, joined him in ministry, and that included music.  With her alto voice, she provides smooth harmony to accompany his strong lead.  Their husband and wife team make up the “Galloway” part of the group.

On select dates, Murray is joined by the “Company”, which consists of his wife, Andrea, his daughter, Kara, and his sister, Beth.  On those dates on which he is alone, they join him in the background vocals.

Beth Wray, Murray’s sister, has sung harmony with him, and has accompanied him on the piano, since she was old enough to sit on a piano bench.  Beth is an accomplished pianist, and it’s all God-given talent!  She started singing with Murray and Andrea when they married.

The trio of 35 years became a quartet when Murray and Andrea’s daughter, Kara Galloway Russell, joined them after obtaining her music degree in 2021.  With her natural talent and exemplary, strong soprano voice, she provides a distinctive dimension to Galloway & Co.’s signature sound.

Murray has written most of the songs they have recorded.  From their first three albums, all five singles released to radio have charted nationally, including the first song they ever released, “Just Sing”. The other songs to chart were:  “I Can’t Control the Rain”, “It’s Raining”, “Before and After”, and “Blessings of Obedience”, on which Murray was joined by The Guardians Quartet.

A mixture of country and southern gospel, with a little pop thrown in, Murray Galloway & Co.’s unique, rich sound focuses on the message of our Lord and Savior.  With heartfelt lyrics and inspiring music, you can’t help but feel the flow of anointing in the message that’s brought through song! They invite you to join them in sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Murray Galloway, the group’s founder, has a heart to share the gospel.  For over 50 years, he has done just that; whether it be through evangelism, pastoring, singing, or songwriting.

Murray began singing in church as soon as he could hold a mic, and he was called into ministry at a very young age.  He began preaching in 1981 at the age of 14, and he was ordained into the ministry in 1987.  In 1988 he began his first pastorate in California.  In 1999 God led him to establish Homefront Ministries. Homefront Ministries is an outreach to pastors and churches of small congregations. In addition to being a pastor, he currently oversees and coaches churches and ministries nationwide.

When God led him to form Galloway & Co. in 2021, it was a natural extension of Murray’s love of music and his many years of preaching. The songs Murray writes and the group sings have a message.  They encourage the listener and point them to Christ. His years of ministry have given him a unique reserve to draw from for songwriting.

Murray and his wife, Andrea, were married on November 29, 1986. God has blessed them with two lovely daughters, Kara and Kori, and a son-in-law, Ben Russell.

Andrea Turner Galloway learned to sing harmony as a teenager in her church choir and has been singing in churches ever since.  She has been ministering alongside her husband, Murray, as he has evangelized and pastored nationwide since they married in 1986. She has ministered as a children’s pastor, taught youth and adult Sunday School classes, led Bible studies, and is a guest speaker.  Andrea also sings with the worship team at WellSpring Church, where her husband currently pastors.

A graduate of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, Andrea obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and personnel management, and has been employed in both the public and private sectors in accounting and office management. She is currently the administrator for Homefront Ministries.

Andrea and Murray have two daughters, Kara and Kori, and a son-in-law, Ben Russell.

Growing up in a preacher’s home, Kara Galloway Russell has been surrounded by ministry and music her entire life. She not only began singing in church as a teenager, but she also immersed herself in her high school’s music environment.  It is no surprise that she pursued music as her career choice.

While attending Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, she served as the Student Director of Choral Programs and was given the honor to perform at Carnegie Hall with this choir.  After completing her bachelor’s degree in music education with a voice concentration, she has instructed children K-12 in elementary music, choir, and band.

Kara and her husband, Ben, are part of the worship team at WellSpring Church in Pontotoc, MS, where her dad pastors.

Beth Wray has been involved in church ministry most of her life. When her father began evangelizing, Beth was 9, and she, her brother, and her mother would sing during the revival services her father preached. She became the pianist of Abundant Life Christian Center (now WellSpring Church) in Pontotoc, MS when she was only 13 years old. Beth is still the pianist at WellSpring and currently serves as the minister of music also. She has been married to Chris since April 2000, and they have two children; Evan and Allison.

Beth is a 2014 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in elementary education.

She has also received master’s degrees from Arkansas State University and Blue Mountain College and a specialist’s degree from Arkansas State University. Beth is currently employed as a tier 3 reading interventionist for grades K-3 with the Pontotoc City School District in Pontotoc, MS and with the University of Mississippi as an adjunct instructor in writing for freshmen.
